Everyone deserves a space where they feel safe, seen, and supported while doing the hard work of healing. My approach is grounded in the belief that lasting change happens through connection, curiosity, and compassion. I work with children (4+), teens, young adul

ts, and adults, with specialized focus in eating disorders/disordered eating, trauma recovery, anxiety, and identity exploration. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, my goal is to help you feel understood and confident in your ability to heal and grow. My style is authentic, warm, and direct once trust is established. I bring humor, realness, and a collaborative spirit into therapy — clients often share that they feel comfortable, supported, and “able to be themselves” with me. I value bringing in families when working with younger clients, because healing often strengthens everyone involved. I use EMDR, trauma-informed approaches, creative art-based therapy, and addiction certified treatment. Treatment is always individualized — we work together to find what best fits your needs, strengths, and goals. My passion for this work comes not just from training, but also lived experience. Navigating my own journey with anxiety, disordered eating, and growing up in a blended family shaped the way I show up: with empathy, openness, and deep respect for every client’s path. I believe every person has the capacity to heal — and no one should have to do it alone.

Some things are a straight line to a solution.
And some things aren’t.

You can try to think your way through it.
Research it.
Understand it from every angle.

There are a lot of ways people try to cope.
Some help. Some delay. Some keep you in your head.

But healing doesn’t always follow a clear path.

And then there’s therapy…
even that’s not always a straight line, but often the one that actually moves you forward 🤍

This time of year can be hard for some. There’s an increase body awareness simply because more of your body is visible. Your brain starts scanning and evaluating more than usual.

That heightened awareness isn’t the same as truth. It’s a pattern.
When you notice it, try shifting from judgment to observation:
“I’m having a thought about my body” vs. “Something is wrong with my body.”

If this season feels harder than it should, you don’t have to navigate it alone. More support is available at the link in bio 🤍

What’s going on in your brain doesn’t always come out in words 🧠🎨

At RMP we can map it out by using different colors to show different emotions.

Sometimes one feeling fills everything.Sometimes it’s a mix.
Either way… we get to see it, understand it, and start to work through it 💛

A few soft reminders for the week ahead 🤍

You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You don’t have to do it perfectly.
And you don’t have to rush your way through it.

Small steps count. Rest counts. Showing up as you are counts.

Save this for when you need a reset and come back to it anytime this week. ✨

RMP reminder 💭
Art therapy doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be yours.

This weekend, find a little time to slow down, get creative, and let your mind breathe. 🎨

Play therapy days can look a little chaotic from the outside.

Sand outside the box.
Markers with the wrong lids.
Games mid-play and bins left open.

But that’s often what it looks like when kids feel safe enough to explore, express, and take up space.

And that usually means something really good is happening 💛

Happy December 1st! Episode 12, Mindful Eating & Movement During the Holidays, now available to listen or watch on Spotify and YouTube!

As I reflect on this past year, I am beyond grateful for the support this platform has provided and the kind words people have said in response to the podcast.

With that being said, after long consideration I have decided to take a step back from the podcast, putting a Season 2 on hold indefinitely. I am the type of person, like many of you, who push themselves too much, resulting in burnout.

As work becomes busier and I’m becoming more involved with community programs and partnerships, I’ve decided to focus my energy on those aspects in the 2025 year.

I started this podcast for people like me, who could have utilized this resource when they were struggling. It’s what I’ve chosen to focus on clinical practice on, but I also understand that not everyone has the privilege or access to treatment.

Thank you to every single guest who took the time to come on and share their story. Thank you to every person who reached out, who listened, who offered kind words.

Plan to see short clips on my socials that address similar topics to the podcast!
