Today I wanted to remind you that the “way you used to be” seems like something you need to work toward (body-wise, weight-wise, fitness-wise), but clinging to that image of yourself might be misplaced.

And aiming for that might be setting you up for something inappropriate for you at this point in your life (for any number of reasons).

It also hints to your mind that your “best days” are over.

That it’s all downhill from here.

That what (and how) you are now isn’t as good as it used to be. And I call BS on that.

Doing things differently, looking different, feeling differently about how you show up in the world—this is NORMAL!

It can’t be another way! No amount of effort can bring us back to our 20s.

Once we let go of that, it frees us up to explore how great life can be right now, at this moment.

It gives us the mission of creating goals and healthy habits that support our glorious selves as we are now.

And we can move in alignment, with purpose to support our current selves, and with the wisdom we have now.

A little sprinkle can boost fiber in a big way! 1 Tablespoon of Chia seeds here, but nuts, h**p hearts, ground flax, or high fiber cereal on top of this snack would also be good options.
