Just to clarify, I chose the CR Lab hair prosthesis. I believe that adding more hair to the top of my head creates a more youthful appearance, especially at my age. Many women opt for hair extensions instead of a hair topper, which works well if they have a good amount of hair on top. However, if your hair is thinning, I recommend adding a hair topper to the top of your head. The last thing you want is for someone behind you to notice your extensions.

Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved LEQSELVI™ for alopecia areata, marking the third FDA-approved treatment for this disease.

“It is with tremendous excitement that we welcome the FDA’s approval of a third treatment for severe alopecia areata in as many years,” said Nicole Friedland, President and CEO of the National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF). “NAAF’s vision is an empowered community with a choice to embrace or live free of alopecia areata. Today’s announcement adds another effective treatment option for alopecia areata patients. NAAF celebrates this significant step forward and remains resolute in the commitment to research and treatment development advances for the benefit of the alopecia areata community.”
