The updates to ANSI/AAMI ST91:2021 caught some departments flat-footed. Between increasing the total number of basins, changing basin sizes, including visual inspection, enhancing magnification requirements, and more, there were changes in many portions of a scope’s workflow.

Since the revisions, departments have acted fast to remain compliant. Here are a few success stories we’ve had the chance to work on:

📍 Missouri: A two-basin sink was custom-designed to meet ST91 basin requirements within a tight space, achieving compliance and fitting their unique footprint.

📍 Texas: When a facility’s planned sinks fell short of ST91 basin size requirements, our default-compliant basin sizes and fast lead times kept their project on time.

📍 Illinois: Four triple-basin, height-adjustable sinks were installed with compliant basin dimensions, borescopes, and mounted magnified task lights to meet visual inspection recommendations.
