Happy International Women’s Day 💐

I feel incredibly blessed to be surrounded by some of the most talented, compassionate, and driven women I know.

The women on our team show up every single day to help other women around the world take their health back. Reviewing labs. Creating personalized strategies. Supporting clients through the hard seasons. And celebrating the wins right alongside them.

The work we do is both life changing, and challenging. I’m so grateful to do it with this crew.

I’m also especially grateful for my incredible business partner . Building a company and being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart. There are long days, hard decisions, and a lot of faith required along the way. Having someone beside you who believes in the mission as deeply as you do makes all the difference.

To the women on the FitMom team — thank you for the heart, brilliance, and dedication you bring to the FitMom mission every day. We love you!

If you’re in need of answers, tired of feeling like c**a and being told “everything is normal” comment LABS

Our comprehensive bloodwork panel includes over $1200 in labs - most of which your doctor won’t run - plus a 1 hour review to help you understand what the patterns and trends mean, how it correlates to your symptoms and next steps.

Gallbladder removed and now you’re bloated, constipated, or running to the bathroom?

Let’s talk about it.

When your gallbladder is gone, bile doesn’t get stored and released in a strong, timed surge anymore. It just drips.

That can mean:
• Trouble digesting fats
• Loose stools or urgent diarrhea
• Slower motility and constipation
• Fat-soluble vitamin deficiencies (A, D, E, K)
• Elevated cholesterol or liver enzymes

Your gallbladder wasn’t the villain. It was the storage tank.

So what matters now?

Support bile flow.
Use digestive enzymes or ox bile if needed (individualized).
Consider taurine (helps conjugate bile acids) and choline (supports moving fat out of the liver).
Space fats out instead of eating huge high-fat meals.
Monitor lipids, liver enzymes, and fat-soluble vitamins.

And test. Don’t guess.

If you’ve had your gallbladder removed and still feel “off,” it’s usually a bile flow and liver support conversation — not a random supplement conversation.

Comment BILE if you want my bile support guide.

Tea polyphenols in matcha can reduce non-heme iron absorption when consumed with meals — especially in women with low iron stores or iron deficiency anemia.

Low iron symptoms: Fatigue, hair loss, cold hands and feet, dizziness, shortness of breath, poor workouts.

You don’t have to quit matcha.

You just need better timing.

If you’re rebuilding iron levels, keep matcha 1–2 hours away from iron-rich meals or supplements.

Iron deficiency isn’t just about eating more red meat.

It’s about stomach acid, mineral balance, inflammation, and absorption.

Comment IRON and I’ll send you my iron anemia guide with what labs to test, optimal ranges, and how to rebuild your iron safely.

Low stomach acid symptoms are more common than you think.

Bloating after meals.
Burping.
Acid reflux.
Undigested food in stool.
Nutrient deficiencies like low iron and low B12.

Most people are told they have too much stomach acid.
But research shows gastric acid is required to properly break down protein and absorb key nutrients like iron and vitamin B12. When acid is low, food ferments, gas builds, pressure rises — and reflux can follow.

If you suppress acid without asking why it’s low, you may miss the root cause.

Stomach acid is not the enemy. It’s foundational for digestion, nutrient absorption, and gut health.

Comment ACID and I’ll send you my Stomach Acid Resource Pack.

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is not one-size-fits-all.

If you’re working with your OB/GYN on estrogen therapy, make sure to ask about starting HRT at the lower dose — especially if you’re sensitive or prone to side effects.

Estradiol patches commonly start at 0.025 mg/day and can be increased slowly if needed.

But here’s the part that matters most:

Even if you don’t have a uterus, estrogen should always be paired with progesterone. We argue to start progesterone first then estrogen.

Why?

Unopposed estrogen increases the risk of endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial cancer. This is well established in clinical guidelines, including those from the North American Menopause Society and major gynecologic societies.

Progesterone is protective and we have receptors throughout the body, not just the uterus.

Many doctors were trained “no uterus = no progesterone,” but many argue progesterone still matters because it has benefits beyond uterine protection.

WorldLink medical specifically discusses prescribing P4 even after hysterectomy if you want to learn more.

But think of it this way - Estrogen builds and Progesterone balances.

HRT can be powerful when done strategically:
• One hormone at a time
• Lowest effective dose
• Proper progesterone support
• Labs and symptom tracking

As always this is not medical advice and it is bioindividual based on health history, symptoms and risk factors.

SIBO symptoms are often missed or labeled as IBS.

If you’re dealing with bloating, constipation, diarrhea, gas, or food sensitivities… it may not be random.

Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) happens when bacteria grow in the wrong place — the small intestine — leading to fermentation, inflammation, and poor nutrient absorption.

Common signs of SIBO:
• Bloating after meals
• Excess gas
• Constipation or diarrhea
• Brain fog
• Fatigue

This is not just “sensitive digestion.”
There is always a root cause.

If your skin feels dry, dull, breaking out, or suddenly aging faster than it should… it’s not random.

It’s barrier damage, collagen decline & oxidative stress.

Whether you need hydration (F06), wrinkle support (F59), plumping (F87), acne control (SOS), texture smoothing (F81), dark spot correction (F82), support dull skin so you can glow (F63), or need the extra skin elasticity and immune support (internals I01 & I66) — this is the time to build your routine.

BOGO means you can fix two problems at once.

Comment OTP and I’ll send the details.
