A huge thank you to Nancy and Lynn for coming out to Casita Three and helping us create the most beautiful beaded necklaces/garlands for our walkers and room décor! They even gave one of our med carts a little garland makeover.

The residents and families that were able to attend, enjoyed a special Thanksgiving lunch. Our culinary department created a homemade lunch with shrimp cocktail, turkey, ham, dressing, asparagus, mashed and sweet potatoes, and to top it off, pumpkin pie and ambrosia. We even had birthdays to celebrate. A huge thank you to Chef Shayden, Jorge, Juan, Cayden and Tyler for the food and service and thank you to our management team for helping serve and keep our guests happy.
We want to wish all of our residents and their families a blessed and happy Thanksgiving. We are thankful for all of you.

A huge thank you to the students from CAPA, Creative Arts Production Academy. Under the direction of Kara Henson, these amazing and talented students performed songs from Disney movies. They brought smiles and a rounding applause from our residents. These students range in age from 10- 18 and are homeschooled. After their performance the students went to our residents to talk and listen to some stories they shared.

Today we honored all those that have served our country past and present. with the assistance of United Hospice's Chaplain Aery, he honored our veterans that were able to attend. Presenting them with a certificate of appreciation and then a pin honoring them . Chaplain Aery prayed over our veterans that have served and all they have sacrificed for us. Not only were our veterans a part of keeping our freedom, but so were the spouses and families that were at home. Chaplain Aery, thank you for being a part of our ceremony. Though most of our veterans were men, we have one female who served as a medic in the US Army.

Had the best visit with Susan from Painted Promises ranch and her mini horses, Trinket and Ozzie. Their gentle and friendly personalities brought smiles, love and many questions. The residents loved petting the horses and having them to hug. Thank you, Susan for bringing such joy to our community.

The results for our Pumpkin Contest are in!!!
Please join us in congratulating Melanie in Casita 3 for winning the Social Media Favorite Pumpkin and Sierra from Human Resources for being chosen as the Resident's favorite Pumpkin.

Our team brought some ghostly fun to life with our photo shoot. Staff and residents participated in a hauntingly good time. Who said ghosts can't be friendly.
