Today we celebrate National Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day! 🛠️
Todd is not only our incredible Environmental Services Director and the go-to person for all things maintenance, but he’s also someone you can count on to make everyone’s day a little easier. Whether he’s fixing something, helping another department, or simply stepping in wherever he’s needed, Todd is always ready to lend a hand.

We appreciate him so much and are grateful for everything he does. Thank you, Todd! 👏

Our group of ladies enjoyed an impromptu lunch yesterday. They were fortunate enough to have an attentive server, Vinny, who became a favorite among them. We also had Dania join in the fun. The conversation flowed, new friendships made, learning interesting things about each other which brought plenty of laughs. Sometimes a last minute outing turns out to be the best.

We're celebrating February birthdays with Ginny, love songs to sing along to and a few bubbles in the air just because we can. Everyone had instruments to go along with the music, some dancers and of course, beautiful voices singing along. This was such a fun group that of course we had to end it with bubbles and Don Ho in the background singing what else...Tiny Bubbles. Thank you, Ginny for always bringing smiles, great songs and fun. 🎼💕

Today's activity was all about creativity, discovering some hidden talents and interpretation. And there was plenty of laughter. Residents were seated directly across from one another and given the supplies and encouragement, they had to "Draw Your Neighbor". It was not about perfection, it was about sharing a moment and seeing each other in a new light. These ladies had so much fun, once they got over their nervousness of trying to be perfect. They did such an awesome job.

Today was Red Day, red symbolizes love, heart, and compassion which are the core of caregiving.

Huge thank you to Azul Hospice & Palliative Care for treating us to pizza, salad, and cookies as we wrapped up National Caregiver Appreciation Week!
Even though the week is coming to an end, we want our caregivers to know how deeply appreciated they are each and every day. The hard work, compassion, and dedication you show never go unnoticed. We are so grateful for all that you do!

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Hospice of the Valley for thinking of our caregivers on National Caregiver Day.
The relaxation kits you dropped off, complete with a candle, lip balm, lotion, and a diffuser, were such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture. Our caregivers give so much of themselves every day, and it means the world to have their hard work recognized and appreciated.

To our caregivers: Mahalo Nui Loa, We Appreciate You a ‘Shave’ Lot
Today was Yellow Day, yellow symbolizes hope, happiness, and positivity, all qualities our caregivers bring every day.

A huge mahalo to United Hospice & Palliative Care of Arizona for treating our caregivers and staff to delicious Hawaiian shaved ice from Tiki Joe’s. They truly make the most amazing shaved ice! It was such a refreshing treat, and everyone enjoyed every sweet, colorful bite. Mahalo nui loa for helping us celebrate our incredible team. 💛

Earlier in the week, we made some homemade treats, and today we had the awesome opportunity to drop them off at the Sun Valley Animal Shelter!
We also got to spend some time with the sweet kitties while we were there and had such a special experience. Thank you so much to everyone at Sun Valley for welcoming us and letting us come by and spend time with you all. We can’t wait to visit again!
