Join the Junior Volunteer Program at HSHS St. Francis Hospital and gain hands-on experience while giving back!
✔️ Must be 14+ by June 1
✔️ A high school student with at least a “C” average
✔️ Willing to volunteer 2+ hours a week

Applications are now being accepted for the HSHS St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship! St. Francis Auxiliary is awarding three $1,000 scholarships to students in the Montgomery or Macoupin County.

Applicants must be enrolled and have completed, or are completing, at least one year in an accredited school of his/her choice with the intent of receiving a degree or diploma in a health-related occupation. A huge thank-you to Scouts BSA Troop 89 and Cub Scout Pack 89 of Litchfield and Hillsboro for collecting more than 870 pounds of food to support the St. Clare Center Food Pantry. They distributed about 100 donation bags door-to-door in Litchfield neighborhoods and also were supported by community donation boxes placed at several local locations, including Diamonds Bistro, Litchfield Carnegie Public Library, Rise and Grind, Cornerstone Church, Union Avenue Christian Church, and Christian Church of Litchfield. Approximately 13 scouts took part in the effort to bless individuals and families served by St. Clare Center.

We recently were honored to celebrate the remarkable career of Paula Endress, Philanthropy Manager. Paula recently retired after leading the philanthropy efforts for HSHS St. Francis Foundation for the past 16 years.

In her tenure, Paula has raised over $9.8 million in funds through over 21,000 individual gifts that were dedicated locally to ensure the health care needs of our community have been met and exceeded. She truly has been committed to care throughout her years of service. This video shows just a fraction of her efforts and the lives she has touched during her years here.
