Join us in giving a warm welcome to Jennifer Gudgel, FNP-C, who joined LFPC back in January!

Jen is a Litchfield native, born and raised, and now caring for the very community she calls home. Her family’s roots in a local business make her connection to this area even more special.

She’s a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in urgent care and hospital nursing, bringing experience in treating acute illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and focusing on preventative care—all with a compassionate, patient-first approach.

Jen works alongside Dr. Erin Wheeler and has already been a wonderful addition to our team, helping us expand access to high-quality care right here in Litchfield.

We know your time matters—and we hear you.

At Litchfield Family Practice Center, we’re proud to care for nearly 20,000 patients in our community. That’s something we don’t take lightly, but it also means there are times when wait times—especially on the phone—aren’t where we want them to be.

We’re actively working on improving access and responsiveness, because you deserve better than “just okay.”

You may also notice something new this week—we’re beginning to test AI/virtual assistant tools to help manage call volume. We know this approach can be a little polarizing, and we’re being thoughtful about how we implement it, but we’re hopeful it can help us serve you more efficiently.

At the same time, we know that in a practice this size, not every experience will be perfect—and we’re always listening, learning, and adjusting.

Thank you for trusting us with your care and for continuing to give us grace and feedback.

While it was mine and Colleen's names on the team marketing, this was truly a team effort from LFPC staff, as well as Animal Medical Center of Litchfield staff!
