Happy National Volunteer Appreciation Week! We might be biased but we have some of the best volunteers! We are so grateful for each and every one of you!

This National Volunteer Appreciation Week, we want to speak directly to the people who give their time to our residents.

You show up on Tuesdays. And Thursdays. And most Saturdays.

You make handmade birthday cards. You ask the staff if anyone needs a little extra attention. You help someone play Bingo and cheer like you mean it when they win.

And when a resident is going through the hardest thing β€” you don't leave. You hold their hand. You read to them. You make sure they are not alone.

You don't volunteer for the credit. But we want you to know: the residents feel it. The families feel it. The staff feel it. We all do.

To every volunteer across our Minnesota communities β€” thank you. Truly.

With more than a decade of experience, LuAnn brings knowledge, leadership, and a calm, steady presence to her role as LPN Care Coordinator / Nurse Manager at Meeker Manor.

She helps guide care across our teamβ€”supporting staff, coordinating services, and making sure each resident’s needs are met with consistency and compassion.

For the 15 months, she’s been a trusted part of our community, and we’re grateful for the expertise and heart she brings every day.
