How to Maintain Good Posture This Fall:

-Adjust your workspace for ergonomic support (even if you are using a couch or kitchen table)

-Avoid long periods of time sitting on the couch. Stand up and stretch every 30-60 minutes

-Use a lumbar roll or small pillow while driving or sitting

-Strengthen your core with a simple 5 minute daily exercise routine

-Watch what you carry! A heavy backpack or shoulder bag can cause you to become misaligned

Planes, trains, and road trips… summer adventures are great for the soul, but often hard on your spine. Here are 3 quick, chiropractor-approved movements to realign your body post-vacation!

1- Unwind the Spine with Gentle Spinal Decompression
Long hours of sitting compress your spine and tighten hip flexors. Try lying on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor, then gently rock your knees side to side. This helps decompress your lower back and reset spinal alignment.
