This week, in celebration of National Volunteer Week, we honored the incredible resident volunteers across all Luthercare campuses at our annual Volunteer Banquets 💙

In 2025, Luther Acres - A Luthercare Community had 203 resident volunteers who shared an inspiring 8,890 hours of their time. At St. John's Herr Estate - A Luthercare Community, 62 volunteers generously gave 4,267 hours of service.

While the numbers are remarkable, it’s the spirit of generosity, connection, and care behind them that truly makes our communities so special. We were grateful to celebrate with live music, a delicious meal, and fun raffle baskets, but the true highlight was honoring the people who make our communities such a special place to call home.

To our resident volunteers, thank you for all you do. Your impact is felt every day, and we are so grateful to celebrate you this week and always. ❤️

Today at Luther Acres - A Luthercare Community, we came together to honor our centenarian residents, recognizing a lifetime of memories, experiences, and impact. Surrounded by family, friends, and neighbors, it was a truly special gathering.

With vibrant spring blooms, a festive balloon arch, and a table full of cake and appetizers, the celebration was as joyful as it was meaningful. It was a beautiful reminder of the history within our community and the importance of celebrating life together. 🎂🌷

This morning, we departed Luther Acres - A Luthercare Community and ventured out to Shenk’s Ferry Wildflower Preserve to enjoy the beauty of the season. Along the trails, every step revealed something new to admire, from colorful blooms to the peaceful sounds of nature. It was the perfect mix of sunshine, fresh air, and wildflowers in full display!

It was the kind of morning that reminded us how beautiful it is to slow down and simply enjoy the world around us. 💙
