A&E Hearing Connection A community based organization providing hearing healthcare, including hearing aids, to low-income adults and under-served children in Lancaster, PA.

OUR PROGRAM

Everybody wants to engage fully in life, relationships, and passions. For many, that dream has been blocked by hearing loss. Moreover, some low-income families in our community are unable to obtain high-quality hearing healthcare due to lack of social programs. A&E Hearing Connection is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to meet this need. We operate on a reduced fee, sliding scale basis to make our services affordable. We rely on the support of our community through grants, donations, corporate sponsorship's, and volunteers to make our programs sustainable. In return, our Circle of Giving model gives our patients the opportunity to give back to the community through service at a charitable organization of their choice. For every hearing aid our patients receive through Grace Hearing Center, they return a designated amount of volunteer hours to their community. This is our way of saying “Thank you” to those who make it possible for our patients to receive the Gift of Hearing.

If you are looking for a good cause, please take a look at our non-profit. If you know someone who needs hearing aids but can't afford them, we can HELP!!!!!!!

We help people throughout the year but also have an extra special event on December 3, 2021 we call our Day of Giving. We will be fitting about 12 individuals in need, with hearing aids, through our Circle of Giving. Recipients will be paying it forward to our community with acts of kindness or service.

Imagine being a mother but not being able to hear your baby. Ha-Diyah lost her hearing aids several years ago and was not able to buy new ones. So she couldn't hear her baby's soft and sweet cooing sounds and kept her close at night so she could hear when she cried.
Last Saturday, Dr. Kamal Elliot joined in Springfield at the office of the PA Center for Hearing and Balance to give the gift of hearing to those in need. We were so happy to fit this young Mom with hearing aids so she can enjoy the most precious sounds of all...... her baby's first words and much more!!!

We are so grateful to all that support our organization so we can help create hearing smiles in our community, here in Lancaster County, as well as around the world. Hearing is such a crucial sense and so many are left in a bubble of silence, living on the edges, isolated and depressed due to untreated hearing loss.
