We’re halfway through December – have you considered giving to help a resident?

Last year, 48 residents needed the assistance of the Caring Fund. Your gift of $250 can help provide one day of care for an older adult who outlived their financial plans or experienced an unexpected health diagnosis and needs the help of the Caring Fund.

“I have always appreciated the thought of helping others and dedicated my life to that, but I never expected to need help myself,” Mary shared.

đź’ś Every day, the Caring Fund is needed to help residents who have outlived their financial resources and are no longer able to pay the total cost of their care.

Your gift of $250 provides one full day of compassionate, high-quality care for a resident in need. Please help this season by donating to the Caring Fund before December 31.

Last week, Landis Homes joyfully celebrated the 40th anniversary and rededication of the West Bethany Chapel. A sacred space on the campus that has long reflected our commitment to being a Christ-centered community.

The chapel now features updates honoring both tradition and accessibility, including a stone backdrop, enhanced lighting and audio, modern projection capabilities, updated seating and railings, an ADA ramp, while preserving some original elements, including the beautiful stained-glass lighting fixtures.

Director of Pastoral Services, Anne Kaufman Weaver, noted, “The rededication reminds us that this chapel continues to be a place of worship, remembrance, and hope, where faith is lived out together, just as it has been for four meaningful decades.”
