Making my first set of seed snails today 🐌🌱 Not perfect. Not Pinterest. Plastic trays, some in bubble wrap, the rest in cotton flour sack towels… and a whole lot of learning as I go. I’m experimenting, paying attention, and trusting that growth doesn’t require me to have it all figured out first. There’s something quietly powerful about starting small, trying things, and showing up anyway. Here’s to messy beginnings and brave roots. 💚🌿

I stepped outside today and found yarrow growing right here in my own yard… like a quiet reminder that provision often shows up where we least expect it.

Yarrow has been used for generations for healing, protection, and restoration — and today it felt like a little love note from the Creator.

Pay attention to what’s growing around you.

Been awhile since I have written a blog post for Cascade Herbal Living. It was nice to write.

I love acknowledging little areas of life where I get to connect with herbal usage into everyday life. I am always a little shocked when I observe just how far we have moved away from all the natural ways our bodies are designed to work in reciprocity with what nature has to provide. We are so easily indoctrinated to run to the store and grab something off the shelf. For me now, I just run to the yard or my apothecary shelf to whip something up for whatever ails me. Except for solanpas..... for lower back aches. I haven’t worked out a go to practice for that yet.... but its coming!!!

Grey Field-Speedwell. Such a tiny little w**d!! Who@knew it had such a powerful punch of medicinal uses!!

Promotes wound healing as a wash or salve. Blood purifier. Helps heal mouth ulcers and sore throat. Helps reduce foot perspiration. Metabolism booster. Rheumatism. And can energize tired mental states.

The more I look in to this little one the more she seems to do!!! I am going to harvest this one and add to the in home apothecary!!!
