Now Hiring: Clinical Director — Leadership That Makes an Impact

Northern Pines is seeking a Clinical Director who brings both clinical excellence and dynamic leadership. This is a key role for someone ready to guide a team of talented providers, elevate care, and help shape the future of our organization.

The Clinical Director will work throughout our six-county service region. Qualified candidates include licensed Mental Health Professionals in the State of Minnesota (i.e. LGSW, LMFT, LPCC, LP, PMHNP). Minimum two years’ supervised experience in the provision of mental health services. Leadership experience in a not-for-profit setting is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits include: A wage range of $90,000 - $125,000 annually considering credentials and experience. Health insurance including a zero-dollar premium option, Dental, Disability and Life insurance with options for spouse and/ or dependents. Health Savings Account with employer contribution. 401K with employer match. Paid Time Off. Nine additional holidays per year. Bereavement Pay. Travel reimbursement. Paid clinical supervision. NORTHERN PINES MENTAL HEALTH CENTER ANNOUCES THE ACQUISITION OF THE REGIONAL CRISIS LINE AND REFERRAL SERVICES, STRENGHENING THE CONTINUUM OF CRISIS CARE ACROSS THE REGION
[Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd and Wadena Counties in Minnesota] - Northern Pines Mental Health Center is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Crisis Line and Referral Service, a well – established hotline serving individuals experiencing mental health emergencies and/or seeking resources. This acquisition enhances Northern Pines’ ability to deliver a comprehensive continuum of care for individuals in crisis and strengthens access to referral services for regional mental health and community resources.
For years the Crisis Line and Referral Services has served as a critical lifeline for individuals and families navigating mental health challenges. By integrating the crisis line into existing services, Northern Pines will ensure seamless support from the initial call for help to connection with ongoing treatment, stabilization services and long-term support options.
“This acquisition expands our ability to offer equitable and timely support to anyone experiencing a mental health crisis,” said Executive Director, Laura Vaughn, of Northern Pines. “With the crisis line now part of our service network, individuals will not only receive immediate assistance but also be connected with exceptional resources across our region.”
The enhanced referral service will strengthen partnerships with local hospitals, community providers, law enforcement, schools, and other stakeholders to create a more coordinated and effective response system for those with mental health needs.
Laura added, “With this transition, callers can expect compassionate, skilled support- now backed by expanded regional resources and a community integrated model of care.”
The acquisition is effective January 1, 2026. Calls will continue 24/7/365 days per year without interruption.
