Alpine Rehabilitation & Nursing Center promotes individualized resident/family-centered care whereby the resident and their families are our partners in providing quality health care through meaningful relationships. Alpine is located in a gorgeous country setting, where there isn't a room without a view. We have a fantastic group that is focused on resident happiness and helping them meet their goals. There's always something fun happening here and visiting hours are 24/7, so feel free to stop in and see us!

We love getting to know the incredible individuals who make Alpine feel like home. This month, we’re shining a light on two special members of our community: Mr. Ronald Smith, a cherished resident, and Lesha Dolen, a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant in our Therapy Department. 1. How do you love to spend a Sunday afternoon?
“Watching football.” – Ronald
“Baking, cooking, and biking.” – Lesha

2. If you could share a dinner with any famous person—past or present—who would it be?
“My wife.” – Ronald
“Abraham Lincoln. I like what he represents.” – Lesha

3. What’s a song that always lifts your spirits?

“I love so many! I really enjoy singing—especially ‘White Christmas’ or anything from The Sound of Music.” – Lesha

4. What’s the best vacation you’ve ever taken?
“Puerto Rico, 1998.” – Ronald

“Sleep.” – Ronald

“Dishwasher at The Sportsman’s Tavern in Fly Creek.” – Ronald

7. What’s a moment in your life that makes you proud?
“Marrying my wife, Deb.” – Ronald
“Graduating college as an older returning student.” – Lesha

8. What’s a favorite memory from childhood?
“Being at Grandma’s house with my siblings.” – Ronald

9. What’s something you’ve done that even surprised you?
“Quitting drinking and smoking.” – Ronald
“Working three jobs, raising kids, and going to school.” – Lesha

10. What’s your favorite thing about Alpine?
“The staff.” – Ronald
“Helping others and being part of our team.” – Lesha

11. What’s one thing you’d love to see added to the facility?
“More food options.” – Ronald

12. What’s a hidden talent or skill you have?
“Singing.” – Ronald

“Pumpkin pie.” – Ronald
