To ensure our 19 MDG team is prepared to deliver exceptional care anytime, anywhere, we will be participating in a Wing readiness exercise Nov 17-20. This will require temporary adjustments to some services. For services that remain available, we’ll maintain normal clinic hours (0730-1630 Mon-Wed, 1100-1630 Thu) throughout the exercise.

Here’s what you need to know:
1. Pharmacy will be open, but please anticipate longer wait times.
2. Laboratory services are unavailable.
3. Pediatrics will remain open.
4. Active-duty and Family Health Clinics will be closed for appointments, as our provider teams focus on essential patient clearance activities.
- For routine care needs, patients can message their clinic via the MHS Genesis Patient Portal. For more emergent needs, please see Additional Care Options below.
5. Women's Health services, including walk-in contraception services, are unavailable.
6. Dental services will be limited to emergencies and sick call. (1-501-259-2679)
7. Flight Medicine will have an on-call flight surgeon available for urgent needs.
8. The Mental Health Clinic will be closed for scheduled appointments. For emergencies, please contact our on-call provider 24/7. (1-501-987-7338 or contact your First Sergeant)

Important Pharmacy Update – 19th MDG Little Rock AFB 📢

Due to the current lapse in appropriations and resulting resource limitations, some routine prescriptions may temporarily be out of stock at the 19th MDG Little Rock AFB Pharmacy. If your medication is out of stock, you may choose to have your prescription filled at a local retail pharmacy or through the TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery. Please be assured that acute and urgent prescriptions will continue to be prioritized and filled as quickly as possible.

Here’s what you need to know:
If your new or refill prescription is affected, you will be notified immediately upon submission. If your medication is unavailable at the 19th MDG Little Rock AFB Pharmacy, we will transfer it to a local network pharmacy of your choice.

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

To ensure you continue to receive timely, high-quality care during a period of staffing transitions, TRICARE Prime beneficiaries are authorized to seek Family Health services with trusted TRICARE network providers through Jan. 28, 2026 -- with one important update. To help us coordinate your care, starting Sept. 29, 2025, please call our appointment line at 501-987-8811 before scheduling an appointment with a network provider to check for availability within the Family Health Clinic. This will help facilitate a smooth transition back to the 19th Medical Group for your care as our providers return from deployment. Appointment availability will gradually increase as our team grows.
