🌬️ Neumonía vs. Bronquitis: ¿Cuál es la diferencia? 🌬️

Pueden sentirse similares, pero aquí te contamos qué las diferencia:

Neumonía

Síntomas: Tos fuerte, dolor en el pecho, dificultad para respirar, fiebre, escalofríos.

Por qué pasa: Generalmente sigue a una gripe o resfriado. Más grave en adultos mayores y personas con problemas de salud.

Prevención: Vacúnate contra la gripe y mantente alejado de los gérmenes.

Bronquitis

Síntomas: Tos persistente (con moco), sibilancias, opresión en el pecho, fatiga.

Por qué pasa: Frecuentemente desencadenada por aire frío, virus o irritantes.

Prevención: No fumar, evitar corrientes frías y abrigarse bien.

La gran diferencia:

Neumonía: Más intensa, afecta los pulmones.

Bronquitis: Afecta las vías respiratorias, pero suele ser menos grave.

🌬️ Pneumonia vs. Bronchitis: What’s the Difference? 🌬️

They can feel similar, but here’s what sets them apart:

Pneumonia

Signs: Bad cough, chest pain, difficulty breathing, fever, chills.

Why It Happens: Usually follows a flu or cold. It’s more serious for older adults and those with health conditions.

Prevention: Get the flu shot, stay away from germs.

Bronchitis

Signs: Persistent cough (with mucus), wheezing, chest tightness, fatigue.

Why It Happens: Often triggered by cold air, viruses, or irritants.

Prevention: No smoking, avoid chilly drafts, and wrap up warm!

Biggest Difference:

Pneumonia is more intense and affects the lungs. Bronchitis impacts the airways and is usually less severe.
