Shelby is an accomplished nursing leader with nearly a decade of experience spanning bedside nursing, case management, and healthcare leadership. As Director of Hospital Care Management for Prisma Health’s Greenville Memorial and North Greenville LTACH campuses, she is recognized for her strategic vision, strong operational leadership, and dedication to improving patient outcomes across the continuum of care.
Shelby is known for her deep expertise in clinical practice, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. She excels in designing and optimizing care management processes, leading multidisciplinary initiatives, and empowering teams to deliver high‑quality patient‑centered care. Her leadership has contributed to measurable improvements in patient experience, length of stay, readmissions, throughput efficiency, and value‑based care performance.
A committed mentor and collaborator, Shelby develops and supports emerging leaders, partners closely with organizational leadership, and drives system‑wide initiatives including readmission reduction, and length‑of‑stay optimization. Her work reflects a strong foundation in data‑driven decision-making, operational excellence, and compassionate advocacy for both patients and team members.
Shelby began her nursing career in critical care and medical oncology before advancing into Hospital care management roles. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Administration from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lander University. She maintains national certification in Accredited Case Management (ACM‑RN), in addition to licensure as a registered nurse and American Heart Association BLS certification.
She is driven, collaborative, and committed to excellence, Shelby brings a passion for advancing care management practice, elevating teams, and improving outcomes for patients and communities across the state
