Day 7 of Christmas and 35 of Holiday Cheer was one to remember! ✨
We enjoyed a delicious shrimp scampi and rang in the upcoming New Year with a festive party. The day was filled with fun games, a celebratory toast, and lots of laughs as we threw it back with some old hits that had everyone smiling and singing along. A perfect way to celebrate together and welcome what’s to come! 🎉🥂

Today we enjoyed a classic favorite—creamy, perfectly seasoned deviled eggs! Simple, delicious, and always a crowd-pleaser, they were the perfect treat to keep the holiday cheer going strong.

Day 5 of Christmas and 33 of Holiday Cheer!

Day 5 of Christmas brought 5 Golden Rings — and ours were extra delicious! 🍔✨
We featured a juicy, flavorful burger paired perfectly with five large, crispy onion rings, golden and irresistible. A fun (and tasty) twist on the classic carol that had everyone singing all the way to the last bite.

Day 32 of Holiday Cheer & the 4th Day of Christmas 🤍
On the fourth day of Christmas, our culinary team treated us to something truly indulgent — a silky white chocolate mousse topped with rich chocolate shavings and drizzled with a bold espresso sauce.

Day 30 of Holiday Cheer & the 3rd Day of Christmas 🐔🐔🐔
Today we celebrated the 3rd Day of Christmas — three French hens— with a comforting dinner prepared by our amazing culinary department. The featured special was a French Cassoulet, a slow-braised classic made with tender meats, hearty beans, and aromatic herbs. This was the perfect winter comfort food!

Day 30 of Holiday Cheer was celebrated with a Merry White Spritz Cocktail! We enjoyed our Two Turtle Doves happy hour with great music by Buh Jones, good company, and lots of cheer.

As part of today’s celebration, we also took time to learn about Kwanzaa, a cultural holiday that honors African heritage, unity, and community. We discussed the seven principles of Kwanzaa, known as the Nguzo Saba.

Day 29 of Holiday Cheer — Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅
Today, our resident services team had the best time getting to play Santa and surprising everyone with their gifts. We can’t wait to see everyone rocking their new Summit gear! ❤️

We also gathered together to light our final Advent candle — the Christmas candle — symbolizing the light of Christ, hope fulfilled, and the joy and peace that Christmas brings to our hearts and homes.

Our featured food of the day was a delicious Partridge in a Pear Tree dessert — the perfect sweet treat to make this Christmas extra special. ✨🍐

Day 28 of Holiday Cheer was filled with warmth, nostalgia, and a little extra magic ✨
Katie, our wonderful Resident Services Assistant, spent time reading ’Twas the Night Before Christmas to us, bringing the story to life and reminding everyone of the simple joys of the season.

We also lit our Christmas Eve advent candle! The Christmas Eve Advent candle holds deep meaning—it represents love and the fulfillment of hope. After weeks of waiting and preparation, this candle reminds us that the light has arrived, symbolizing peace, joy, and love coming together.
