Today, we had the profound honor of celebrating Mr. Thomas Vaughns, the last living Tuskegee Airman, and beloved resident of The Summit at Chenal Valley. At 105 years young, Mr. Vaughns received the prestigious Quilt of Valor, presented by the Veterans Group “Never Forgotten in Arkansas”, recognizing his extraordinary service and sacrifice to our country and community.

We were privileged to welcome KATV Channel 7, KARK 4, representatives from the Pine Bluff Mayors Office, and many distinguished guests who joined us in this moment of reverence and gratitude.

A private luncheon was held for Mr. Vaughns and his family, including his daughter Hope, whom we are deeply grateful to know and support.

It was an unforgettable day honoring a true American hero 🇺🇸
