Late post but Friday we wore red to support Ryder! Ryder has been doing amazing! We will have a check up later this month. This boy never ceases to amaze me. The milestones he has accomplished in such a short is inspirational. From being so sick as a baby to the toddler he is now is remarkable. We are so so proud of you Ryder Haze!! ❤️

Our cowboy man has been feeling good the past few weeks since surgery. This boy just amazes us everyday. Since surgery his vocabulary has been nothing shy of amazing. I was worried it would set him back but it has only helped him and he shows more and more of that every day. Ryder also had his 3rd birthday and had so much fun. His grandparents got to come and show him all the love that he could stand.

Update on Ryder: Surgery went well, he most definitely needed it done! Ryder came out extremely fussy and struggling to breathe. It took our team 2 hours to get him stable. One of our favorite doctor got her a work out in trying to keep him in the bed, lol. He’s a very strong boy. He was placed on oxygen and given medicine through his iv over the past two days. He has slowly came around to eating and drinking through all of his emotions and the pain. We are on our way home now! We would love if you all would continue praying for our boy. He is tough but he is very sore. Thank you all! ❤️

Today I am having surgery to remove my tonsils. If we could get all the prayers we can get, we would appreciate it! With this hospital visit, we will be taking a blood test to see if I’m still in rejection. We will not have any results for a few days to weeks, but fingers crossed for good results! Though we still worry about rejection (I don’t think this fear will ever go away), Ryder is doing wonderfully and still not showing symptoms of rejection! Our boy is shining bright and is doing amazing from a developmental aspect as well. He is hitting all those milestones that he was not able to achieve in the hospital. He is talking like you wouldn’t believe!

Update on our boy: I’m sorry for the late update. It has been wild for my family. Hospital stay and moving.

Ryder was discharged on Thursday. He has been very fussy and just wanting lots of snuggles. The plan for now is to wait. He will have another heart cath and biopsy on April 24th to see what it’s showing. He will also receive more rounds of IVIG when he goes in for his cath and 2 more times. The IVIG makes him feel really gross If for whatever reason his rejection is progressing the plan will change.

Please pray for quick healing and good results with zero rejection. Thank you to everyone for the kind thoughts and prayers!

Update on our little man. Ryder is experiencing a spell of possible rejection. We will be admitted into Arkansas Childrens hospital for a little while to be treated for this. Our amazing team is not worried at the moment so we are doing our best not to be worried but If everyone could please send up lots of prayers for our boy we would greatly appreciate it.

Update on Ryder: Everything went well in the procedure today. The left side of his heart is stiffer than they would prefer but that was also to be expected. The biopsy they took of his little heart today came back with ZERO rejection!!! I am so beyond proud of my boy. Please continue to pray for our Ryder Haze ❤️

Monday I brought Ryder into the emergency department at children’s with a high fever and lack of eating, drinking, and urine output. With the high fever he was struggling to breath comfortably so we received some oxygen for a while. During the night sometime he kept taking his oxygen off but was breathing much better so we kept the oxygen off. After receiving fluids and Tylenol his fever broke and now after some time he is eating and starting to drink again. Over the past few months we have noticed as to what could be absent seizures so our team is taking advantage of the hospital stay to monitor him on an EEG to make sure Ryder is not having any seizures. We are hoping we get to go home tomorrow or Thursday as long as he continues to feel better. Please pray for our boy as he has another round of rhinovirus. This poor guy cannot catch a break. As you can tell he is starting to feel better and act more like his crazy wild self. ❤️

Update on Ryder: He woke up with a cough this morning so the team wanted to swab him before his procedure. The test came back positive for Rhinovirus! So no procedure today! We will try again in 6 weeks or so. Please continue to pray for our boy! ❤️
