Big thank you to Brandon with Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance for coming through with watermelon plants for our garden 🙌

Our guys didn’t waste a minute—ground got prepped, rows laid, and those plants are already in the soil. Watching something grow from the ground up hits different when you’re rebuilding your own life at the same time.

This is more than a garden. It’s purpose. It’s pride. It’s something positive to pour into every day.

We need your help to keep it growing 🌱
If you’ve got extra vegetable plants, herbs, flowers, bushes, or gardening supplies—we’ll put them to good use. Nothing goes to waste out here.

Let’s keep building something beautiful together 💚

Picture this:

The guys from The Magnolia Recovery Community —men who’ve actually lived it, been incarcerated, been on probation or parole—are now on the other side of it.

In this packed room full of “law-abiding” professionals, roles got flipped. Now they have to walk it out.

They’re going station to station—banks, courts, social services, probation, doctors, employers—trying to get a job, find housing, secure a check, get help.

And it’s not easy.

What happens when your credit keeps you from getting a place?
When you can’t get a loan?
When paperwork doesn’t make sense?
When there are no beds left?
No resources?
No food?

What happens then?

This is what reentry feels like. Not on paper—real life.
Take a moment to share what you would do
Thank the guys for their participation

We’re on the ground today at the NARP National Reentry Conference, connecting with professionals from across the country who are all working toward the same mission—second chances and real change.

Alongside our CEO, Kasia Pabian, our guys will be actively participating in a hands-on simulation, diving into the real-life challenges individuals face during reentry. It’s one thing to talk about the system—but it’s another to step into it, feel it, and truly understand the barriers people are up against every day.

These experiences matter. They shape how we serve, how we advocate, and how we build programs that actually work.

We’re grateful to be here, learning, growing, and bringing that knowledge back to strengthen our community.

Its been a long day of giving back. Several residents of The Magnolia Recovery Community came together with Riverside Ministries Dentist Little Rock, Arkansas to compliment their feeding of the homeless and underserved populus of little rock and North little rock by sharing in our abundance of clothes donations.

Then we scoured the highways and biways providing snackpacks and clothes to even more, sharing stories, even singing a few karaoke tunes. It was a great day. Many thanks to our guys that assisted in the efforts, join us in thanking them with a few kind words would ya?!

🙏 Sunday at New Life Church Greater Little Rock

Got the guys out to church today. Nothing fancy—just showing up together, sitting still for a minute, hearing something real.

“Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” — Colossians 2:7

That was the message.

Not surface-level change… actually getting rooted. Building your life on something solid so when things get hard, you don’t fall apart.

That hit home for a lot of us.

Because that’s what this season is—learning how to slow down, do it right, and build something that lasts. Not just for today, but for the long run.

Good day with the guys. Real conversations after. That’s what matters.

Work continues.

Out here turning up the land, row by row, getting everything ready for a garden that’s about to be a whole lot bigger than where we started. You can already see it taking shape.

Conversations with the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance are opening doors, and new partnerships are starting to form. We’re getting ready for our first shipment of watermelon and tomato plants, and that’s just the beginning.

If you’ve got extra plants, vegetables, flowers, or even bushes and shrubs you’d be willing to donate or transplant, we’d love to put them to good use. Help us build something that feeds people and makes this place feel like home.

It’s all coming together. 🌱 The Magnolia Recovery Community

Big thank you to City Center and Miss Sharon for looking out for our guys with the clothes.

That stuff matters more than people think. Having something clean to wear, something you feel good in—it helps with everything. Job searches, appointments, just carrying yourself different.

We see it. The guys feel it.

Appreciate y’all for continuing to show up and be part of what’s happening here.

🤝💙 Grateful for partners like Jericho Way Day Resource Center

We just want to take a moment to thank Jericho Way and their team — Miss LaQuinta (Case Manager), Miss Cassandra (Administrative Assistant), and Miss Ruthie (Receptionist) — for the work they continue to do for our residents.

From helping with IDs and birth certificates to connecting people with medical care, housing resources, SNAP/Medicaid, and mental health support… these are the kinds of services that truly help people move forward.

It’s not always seen, but it matters. A lot.

We appreciate organizations that show up, care, and make a real difference in people’s lives every single day.

Thank you for being part of what’s helping our guys get back on their feet.

It starts small… but it means everything.

Today we planted our first two tomato plants.

Nothing big to look at yet—just a couple plants in the ground—but that’s how growth works. Same with our guys, same with this place. You start where you are, you put in the work, and you keep building.

While these plants take root, we’re doing the same—rehabbing buildings, fixing up the property, and getting Magnolia ready for what’s coming next.

Growth is happening all around here. You can feel it.

From the ground up. 🌱

We officially started our onsite garden today.

A group of guys standing in a circle, talking it out—figuring out where to start and how to make it happen. Then somebody grabs a tool, breaks ground, and now it’s real.

It’s just some turned dirt right now, but that’s how everything starts. One step at a time.

Proud of them for showing up and actually doing something with it.

This garden’s gonna grow… and so are they. 🌱

Happy Birthday Jessica Clark - Rudd ❤️

There’s no place like home.
As a leader of the amazing team here at Magnolia and a graduated previous resident, I find myself calling this community home to me.
The love that has been poured out from residents , employees, peers and friends for my birthday today has warmed my heart and I’m so grateful to be a part of this community.

These men and women have my whole heart and their success means more to me than any birthday card could ever! I could not picture a better birthday.

Thank you to everyone for the unconditional love we have here.
