ICM Independent Case Management, Inc. (ICM) is a not-for-profit organization that provides in-home support.

ICM is a not-for-profit organization that provides home and community-based supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and aging adults throughout the state of Arkansas. Created in 1988, ICM began as a pilot project in partnership with the State of Arkansas to implement a 1915c Medicaid home and community-based supports waiver for people with IDD. Today, ICM supports over 280 people with IDD and has approximately 600 employees. The majority of funding stems from Medicaid services that ICM provides to people with IDD within their homes and communities. Other state-wide services include therapies for children with autism, an innovative community center in Little Rock, foster care, and employment supports for people with IDD. To support pre-employment skill readiness, ICM owns and operates three retail stores in Little Rock and a fried pie manufacturing business in Prescott. The main administrative office is located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Meet Dylan!
Dylan is a bright and kind little boy who brings incredible enthusiasm to his therapy sessions. He’s working hard on skills like accepting “no,” labeling body parts and common items, requesting actions, and even riding a tricycle! Recently, Dylan mastered sharing his gaming controller with his brother, which was a huge milestone for him.
He loves Paw Patrol, enjoys earning stickers, and uses his timer to stay on track. Dylan is making wonderful progress in expressing his thoughts and feelings, and we couldn’t be prouder of all his hard work!

Our Story

ICM started in 1988 as a pilot funded by the state to implement individualized community supports provided in the setting of choice to those who have developmental and intellectual disabilities. We were the first organization in Arkansas doing so.

We began in a tiny home thirty years ago and have since expanded to serve in every county of Arkansas and have several administrative offices. We are able to meet your needs, no matter the location. Around 700 passionate employees reach over 300 clients through our vast programs that we have established.
