While this announcement may be a surprise, no one should be shocked. For the past several years, our family and The Drug Store Inc have been big supporters of Wildwood Park for the Arts, spending much time and effort in its promotion and productions. It seems only fitting that should Holly Judd make a mid-life career change, she land in another arena where her heart lies. Though not on TDS premises weekly, you can bet she will still be singing our praises to the masses.
Wildwood Park for the Arts is pleased to announce the appointment of Holly Judd as its new Director of Development. Judd brings more than 20 years of sales, training and entrepreneurial experience, paired with a strong history of volunteer service with Wildwood, to this role. Judd has been a dedicated supporter of Wildwood Park for more than five years, serving in multiple volunteer leadership positions, most notably as chair of the Lanterns Festival for three of its last four years. Lanterns Festival is the organization's largest annual fundraiser. Under her guidance the event has continued to thrive as a beloved cultural celebration and a vital source of support for the park's programming.
In addition to her volunteer leadership, Judd has spent the last 14 years supporting her husband with their successful community pharmacy, The Drug Store. Her experience managing a small business has equipped her with valuable expertise in operations, relationship building, and community engagement, and she looks forward to bringing these skills to Wildwood's development and fundraising initiatives.
"Holly's deep personal commitment to Wildwood and her proven ability to build strong relationships in the community make her an outstanding choice for this role. We are excited for her to bring her passion and talents to further advance our mission.”
- Bevan Keating, Executive Director of Wildwood Park for the Arts
A graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, Judd holds a bachelor's degree in public relations with a minor in health education. She looks forward to combining her professional background with her love of the arts to help strengthen Wildwood's role as a resource for west Little Rock and central Arkansas.
“I am honored to serve Wildwood in this new capacity. This organization has been a meaningful part of my family's lives for many years, and I'm excited to help sustain and grow its impact for our community.”
