Poem From Daughter (Leslie) :Forever My AnchorYour voice still speaks, a quiet guiding light,A compass in the storm, even in the night. You built a foundation, strong and deep,With loving memories for us to keep. The ship may sail, but your love stays fast,A lasting anchor, built to last.Though you are gone, you are not far,You’re still my guide, my North Star.Leslie
Poem From Daughter (Layah):You may have thought I didn’t see,Or that I hadn’t heard,Life lessons that you taught to me,But I got every word.Perhaps you thought I missed it all,And that we’d grow apart,But Dad, I picked up everything,It’s written on my heart.Without you, Dad, I wouldn’t beThe woman I am today; You built a strong foundationNo one can take away.I’ve grown up with your values,And I’m very glad I did;So here’s to you, dear father,From your forever grateful kid.Layah
Poem From Grandchildren:
GrampaWe’ll always rememberthat special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace, you always gave us.You being therefor Grandma and usthrough good and bad times,no matter what. We’ll always rememberyou Grampa becausethere’ll never be another oneto replace you in our hearts, and the love we will alwayshave for you.Your loving grandkids
Poem From Wife:
I Remember YouEarly in the morning when the birds sing, Light to this world the sun brings, When thedew drops look like pearls shine, 1 remember you in this heart of mine. When the sky is covered with a blanket of clouds, The lightning strikes and the thunderis loud, When the whole world becomes drenched in rain time, I remember you in thisheart of mine. When flowers bloom in the spring season, And smiles break out for no reason, Forhappiness when the weather is kind, I remember you in this heart of mine. When the ground is full of dried leaves in fall, Of different colors from trees so tall,Seeing people enjoy themselves while they dine, I remember you in this heart of mine.In the winter when coldness is all around, And fog comes out of mouths instead ofsound, Looking at the decorated trees so fine, I remember you in this heart of mine.During those cozy full moon nights, When a cool breeze sends up chills of delight,Noticing the empty seat by my side, 1 remember you in this heart of mine. With bare feet / walk on the grass, And relive the days that now have passed, Whilelistening to music that Sounds divine, I remember you in this heart of mine...
