This week’s spotlight shines bright on the one and only Andrea Edgerson, Scrub Tech extraordinaire! 🌟

Andrea originally joined our team in a PRN role, but we have some exciting news: she’ll be joining us full-time very soon! Andrea is incredibly sweet and her skills in the OR are unmatched. We couldn’t be happier to officially welcome her into our full-time family. 🏥💙

When she isn’t showing off those skills in One Day Surgery, you can find her at home spending quality time with her spouse, her daughter, and her two Rottweilers. 🐾

And that’s a wrap on our 12 Days of Snacking! 🎄🍩☕️✨

Today we celebrate our "Twelve Drummers Drumming" grand finale. We wanted to end on a high note, so we’re snacking on a delicious spread of donuts, Danishes, festive cookies, and pies—paired, of course, with plenty of juices, coffee and creamers.

Thank you for following along with our countdown. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful Holiday season. Enjoy the time with your loved ones, stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you when we return!

ODS has had so much fun with the 12 days of snacking. We are nearing the end. Today is day 11. Eleven Pipers Piping!! We are eating the piping hot goodies today. We have some crock pot soups, fudge, ever so yummy snacks and some adorable cookies. Not to mention the amazing Oreo balls that I just can't stop eating! Our fridge is also stocked with flavored creamers for some hot coffee. Tomorrow is our final day before Christmas. Stay tuned to see what our 12th day brings!!

We are officially entering the final stretch, and our team has had a blast bringing this to life. In the spirit of "Eight Maids A-Milking," today’s theme is all about comfort and creaminess. We’re celebrating with a fully stocked Hot Chocolate Bar and a variety of delicious treats.

This week we shine the spotlight on a man who is the very definition of "a perfect contradiction": the one and only Bryan Kenley! Bryan has been with our ODS family for nearly two years, and in that time, he has managed to become both the glue that holds us together and the reason we occasionally need group therapy.
Bryan truly has the biggest heart in all of surgery. If you need a hand, a laugh or someone to genuinely care, Bryan is there for you (provided you also help him find his phone, refill his water, and remember what he was supposed to be doing 5 minutes ago.)
Bryan is a cherished, integral, and utterly lovable part of our work family- the kind of family member you can't imagine life without, even if you're constantly reminding him where he parked his truck.
Thank you Bryan, for your huge heart, and for always giving us something to talk about. (And please, for the love of all that is good, figure out how to work the coffee machine)
