UAMS NURSES SERVE OUR FORT SMITH COMMUNITY ⤵️ Staff from the Fort Smith UAMS clinic spent the evening wrapping presents for a local children’s emergency shelter that sponsors children 18-21 y/o that have aged out of foster care.

They provide support and resources to these individuals to help them transition to adulthood. We just wanted to say thank YOU to our local UAMS clinical staff. We appreciate you so much pouring back into our communities. 💙

UAMS Fort Smith is so excited to share Michelle has joined us as our new Charge Nurse...meet Michelle and give her a howdy and a wave..

Michelle has been in the nursing field for 30 years, working in many different roles in a hospital .
Michelle and her husband have been married for 34 years.
They have 3 grandsons, ages 2, 3 & 4 and are anxiously awaiting their
first granddaughter due February 2026.

She is excited to start this new chapter in her life with us at WEST.
