What Breast Cancer Awareness month has brought to my attention besides the stats after battling this disease

Pinkwashing

“organizations getting disproportionate publicity for donating very little”

“organizations using the pink ribbon to promote products that may be carcinogenic”

“companies using pink ribbon for marketing purposes without meaningfully supporting breast cancer awareness”

When donating money it’s become even more important to me to know what I’m supporting, where my money is going, how much of it is actually going to the cause and if that feels like it’s in alignment with my values

I have been selling things for BCA every year since my diagnosis and every time I donate I make sure I know where it’s going and that it will help someone in a way that aligns with me and what I know would be most supportive from my very personal experience battling this disease

This year when you purchase any BCA items:

20% will go to a non profit organization that provides healing, integrative services and over night stays to people diagnosed with cancer at NO COST to patients

The rest of profit will go to keeping this survivors business running so I can continue to give back on a greater scale as I and grows

Mothers : Sip & Share is a sharing circle for mothers with children of all ages and in all realms

This is a space to use your voice, share what is on your heart and experience what it’s like to truly be heard

This is n o t a space to give advice, respond, display reactions or offer opinions to speakers

Mothers : Sip & Share will allow you to share your experiences, gain perspective, support other mothers in this season of their woman/motherhood, feel connected and feel fully received

I wasn’t quite sure if I’d be able to have children 🌹⬇️

I was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 at 19 years old

Right as covid began rolling out - I started my treatments

At the time, I was advised not to freeze my eggs because it wasn’t worth the risk to get covid entering another doctors office (what a wild time)

So I prayed to God
If I was meant to have babies, God would give me a baby

And so I proceeded with surgery, chemo, radiation and a year long of hormonal therapy until 2021

👼🏻After treatment my baby’s spirit began coming to me in my dreams

I dreamt of giving birth to my baby, breastfeeding him, snuggling him

I’d wake up longing for him
For m o n t h s this continued

After my grandfather passed away I knew new life was to follow

I found out I was pregnant about a month or so later

___

I remember the conversations I had with my partner “I might not be able to have children” “what if I can’t have kids”

So for me it felt like a miracle … an answered prayer.

___

Entering motherhood was the biggest initiation of my life

And I’ve come to find out support is
e v e r y t h i n g

And so in honor of breast cancer awareness month 🎀 and Grayson’s birth month ♏️ it feels so special to to bring 🌹Mothers : Sip & Share 🌹 into this space

A sharing circle for mothers with children of all ages to sit and witness one another in this season of motherhood 🌹

Little tweak to the name of this 1:1 offering

It started out as reiki. But as I continued practicing I realize that is only one layer. And so intuitive healing sessions feels more appropriate. Reiki is still incorporated. However I am also tuning into you somatically and into sensations happening in my body, and then interpreting the information I receive.

I will continue to offer this at a low rate for a limited time.

$60 for 60 minute sessions. Dm to book.
