Im not interested in Fame or Fortune.
I’m simply here to ‘be what I am’,
no more, no less,
no need to prove myself to the world,
no need to fit into anyone else’s ideas
of what a human is,
of what a man is, what a woman is,
of what it means to be alive.
At the end of it all my greatest success
probably won’t make sense to anyone but me,
and my experience of that success won’t be out here
with you or anyone else.
It won’t involve balloons or champagne or money
or even the people my life has touched.
The experience of my greatest success
will take place ten thousand miles inside my own form,
at the very core of myself,
in a womb temple that was made just for me,
in a language that only I speak,
on deep earth made of the tiniest particles
of my own blood and bone marrow and the great spirit wind
that animates this form.
Whatever this world has taught you about success,
or modelled to you,
or demanded of you,
Or trickstered you into thinking...
Remember now and know always
that there is nowhere but here
that you will find it;
in the deep core of your own being
in a place that only you can find,
in a song that only you can sing,
in an integrity that only you will ever understand.
