Renee has just messaged that she has spotted LAND!!!!🏝️ I popped over to the local grocery and did a little shop for fresh fruits/veg and her requested Guacamole/Chips, yogurt, cottage cheese, seltzer (raspberry & lime), kombucha, and of course I added some dark chocolate!! Atlantic Dash directors will be going out late tonight to meet her before she transverse the channel into the harbor!! Raise a glass of seltzer or kombucha with me around midnight and send your loving kindness meditation out to our super girl 💪as she enters the final stretch!!

Ok… hands up 🙋🏼♀️ we may have got a little carried away yesterday calling it Renee’s last night at sea 🫠
She slowed slightly overnight and got nudged north by the same current that caught Changing Tides and SharkBait — although not quite as dramatically. She’s now coming back down, with a lovely northeasterly wind starting to give her a helping hand. We’re expecting her speed to build again through the day 💨
And once she dips under 50 miles, the tracker switches to hourly updates 👀 — as if we weren’t addicted enough already!
Last night she experienced flat, calm glassy sea, when there is no noise at all other than the oars dipping in and out the water… magical ✨
We’re still looking at a Monday arrival, but timings have shifted slightly. Instead of early morning, it’s now more likely between 12pm–6pm local time.
We know it’s frustrating not to have an exact ETA… but this is the ocean and you can’t control the ocean.
It’s just one more battle to conquer.
One more twist in the tale.
One more night on the ocean…
Let’s give Renee some words of encouragement in the comments…
