Accessibility is the minimum standard, not the end goal.

That statement might seem confusing.

So many are focused on compliance. Yes, compliance is a start. The end result though, usually looks much different.

When we first meet clients, oftentimes they are looking for compliance. But when they see how even small changes and efforts improve their messaging, their events, and opens them up to audiences they never had before, the conversation changes.

That is where we thrive. We can make you compliant, but we can also make you accessible.

Technology is changing every single day it seems, especially with AI. We find ourselves constantly moving, shifting into new ways to be more accessible with advancing technology. For us, it isn’t a problem, it is a mission. It is a welcomed challenge.

We are often approached with, “We don’t know of anyone who does this right now, can you do it?”

One of our goals as an organization is to meet people, businesses, communities where they are, not only approaching them with what we currently provide.

This mindset not only fosters an excellent professional relationship, but it is where innovation thrives. We truly, honestly believe these innovations are making a difference in the world by providing new and unique levels of access. That is worth every late night, long Zoom call, and game of phone tag.

We innovate TOGETHER.

Come innovate WITH us.

Access is within REACH.

A huge THANK YOU to our clients!

Growth doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens through partnership.

Your commitment to accessibility is not just appreciated, it’s impactful. Because of your collaboration and trust, we’ve been able to expand, innovate, and continue pushing forward in ways that truly make a difference.

What makes this journey so meaningful isn’t just the growth, it’s who we’ve grown with.

Thank you for choosing us again and again. Thank you for trusting us with your content, your audiences, and your vision for inclusion.

We’re proud to be on this journey with you, and we’re just getting started.

“AI captioning solutions are all the same.”

FALSE.

At VZP Digital, we’ve built our technology differently, on purpose.

We don’t just “use AI.”

We’ve innovated it.

✔️ We OWN THE PATENT for on-demand captions and translations
📌 U.S. Patent No. 11,676,230

✔️ VZP Reach works with ANY encoder
Including EEG, Evertz, and Link Electronics, because your workflow shouldn’t be limited by your tools.

✔️ No vendor lock-in
We offer multiple engines, so you make the decision, not us.

✔️ Human + AI flexibility
Choose AI, human captioning, or a hybrid approach. The power stays in your hands.

And that’s exactly why we’re trusted by:
• Federal & state government agencies
• Major league sports networks
• Universities
• Influencers & content creators
• And more

Not all “solutions” are created equal.

Accessibility is something we’re incredibly passionate about.

Access isn’t just about compliance or checking a box. It’s about connection. It’s about making sure every person is included in the world around them. At some point in life, all of us will rely on accessibility in one way or another. It’s not a niche need; it’s a universal one.

Accessibility isn’t a sprint; it’s a long-distance race.

It can feel overwhelming at first. There are so many pieces, so many ways to improve. But you don’t have to do everything at once. Real progress happens step by step.

Start small. Add captions. Write better descriptions. Think about inclusion in your next post, your next meeting, your next piece of content.

Because the first step? That’s what matters most.

And once you take it, you’re already moving in the right direction.

It is Court Reporting and Captioning week.

Have you ever wondered how captions are created by voice writers?

Here are some other fun facts about being a captioner:

• Write 200–260+ words per minute

• Maintain 96–98%+ accuracy (VZP requires 98.50% accuracy)

• Demonstrate strong real-time translation skills (minimal untranslates/conflicts)

• Understand grammar, punctuation, and speaker identification

THANK YOU to our dedicated court reporters and captioners. We appreciate you!

What is that?

Some of you may be asking yourself that question.

That is Steno language.

It says:

“We love access”

Steno is both a language and a machine. Stenographers use a keyboard that allows them to press multiple keys at once to write sounds, not letters, in real time. This makes it possible to capture speech at 225+ words per minute with high accuracy.

It’s one of the most difficult skills to master. Students must learn an entirely new phonetic language, build speed through daily practice, and pass rigorous accuracy tests. Because of the intense dedication required, graduation rates are often estimated at under 10–15% of those who start.

And stenographers aren’t just court reporters, they’re also captioners, providing real-time access for live broadcasts, classrooms, events, and the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Happy Court Reporting and Captioning Week. Thank YOU to all of those who help us make the world more accessible every day.

For our fellow steno writers who see this post, how do you write “we love access?”

It is time to recognize the skilled professionals who ensure accuracy, access, and inclusion every day.

We thank our dedicated court reporters and captioners for their precision, speed, and commitment to making spoken words accessible.

Your work upholds justice, amplifies voices, and opens doors.

We appreciate all that you do, this week and always.

Did you know?

One of the first football games ever captioned live on television was the Sugar Bowl on January 1, 1981. Early captioning focused on game information like downs, yardage, and on-field updates. It was a huge step forward for accessibility in live sports.

Just a few years later, history was made again when Super Bowl XIX (1985) became the first football game to feature real-time captioning of live commentary.

These milestones helped pave the way for the accessible sports broadcasts millions rely on today. Access belongs everywhere, including the biggest moments in sports. 🏈✨

"Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show performance will be the first in the big game's history to feature a Puerto Rican Sign Language (LSPR) interpreter.

LSPR derived from ASL when it first developed in the early 1900s, but features cultural nuances, pacing differences, and other distinctions that make it unique to Puerto Rico."
