Today we are thrilled to feature Torie Mugo!
Torie is a Kenyan-born wife, mother, and entrepreneur who battled back from a life-threatening illness that led to limb loss. Despite immense challenges, she regained her strength, learned to walk again, and became an inspiring athlete. Victoria actively participates in marathons, cycling races, and even co-founded a Sepsis Support Group. Through her journey, she motivates others to see challenges as opportunities and exemplifies the power of resilience.
When asked why she is so passionate about LPF, she shared, "LPF has truly inspired me with its unique mission in the patient assistance space. For many amputees, the financial burden doesn’t end with surgery—our disability often brings lifelong medical needs that translate into everyday financial challenges. LPF steps in to bridge these gaps, offering financial support to patients navigating limb loss or recurring limb-related complications."
