A gentle reminder for anyone who needs it today:

This graphic shows some *common trauma responses*—but it’s not an exhaustive list. Every nervous system responds in its own way, and that’s okay. If you recognize any of these patterns in yourself or in someone around you, start by simply *talking about it*.

Find a safe person, place, or community where you feel *seen*, not *fixed*. Healing doesn’t come from being told to "get over it"—it comes from being met with presence, patience, and care.

Trauma isn’t just about the event itself—it’s about what happens *inside* us. And we don’t have to be directly impacted by something to carry it in our bodies.

You’re not weak.
There’s no such thing as “I shouldn’t feel this way.”
You don’t have to “handle it better” just because something happened far away or “wasn’t that bad.”

If it hurts, it matters.
If it’s in your system, it’s real.

You’re not alone—and you’re not too much. You’re human. And you’re allowed to take up space in your own healing.
