A major milestone came with the FDA 510(k) clearance of the MEVION S250-FIT™ system, reinforcing our commitment to delivering compact, efficient, and patient-centric proton therapy solutions.

We were also honored to welcome impactful delegate visits to our headquarters, where we shared firsthand how U.S.-based innovation and manufacturing are shaping the future of cancer treatment. These moments underscored the importance of collaboration between industry, community, and leadership.

Big News for Local Health Care! 🎉

Congratulations to UMass Memorial Health on receiving approval from the Massachusetts Public Health Council to develop proton therapy service at UMass Memorial Medical Center’s Cancer Center in Marlborough.

This new development means patients across Central Massachusetts and beyond will have easier access to this innovative treatment right here in our community, avoiding long trips to other treatment centers. It is a huge step forward for patient care and access to world-class treatment options close to home.

We’re proud to announce our partnership with Carilion Clinic to bring proton therapy, one of the most precise forms of cancer treatment, to the new Carilion Taubman Cancer Center in Roanoke, Virginia.

When the center opens in 2028, it will be home to a MEVION S250i Proton Therapy System® featuring HYPERSCAN® Pencil Beam Scanning and Adaptive Aperture® technology for the most conformal proton dose available.
