Great News for Women!!
The FDA has reversed its decision to remove the black box warning labels from hormone therapy drugs, stating that the treatments offer heart, brain, and bone health benefits. The agency's announcement was made by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and FDA Commissioner Marty Makary, who emphasized the importance of removing the warnings based on a comprehensive review of scientific literature and an expert panel's recommendation. The FDA is working with companies to update product labeling to remove references to risks of cardiovascular disease, breast cancer, and probable dementia.

I feel bad for all the women that were duped into believing the Women's Health Initiative Study in 2000. Most doctors took their patients off hormones and put them on antidepressants which mildly helped symptoms of menopause but certainly didn't help their bones, their brain or their cardiovascular health.

This is how the food industry likes to trick us. The front of the box states no sugar. The back of the box lists sucralose which is an artificial sweetener you may know as Splenda. Another of their flavors has maltdextrin as its sweetener. Both of these ingredients are artificial. Splenda is not known to raise blood sugar even though it is significantly sweeter than sugar. It has been shown to cause cancer in animals though not in humans as that sort of trial would be unethical. Maltdextrin will spike glucose levels rapidly.
