Training at the Musana Empowerment Center has officially resumed, and we are excited to continue equipping hundreds of young women with practical, income-generating skills. These skills prepare them for employment opportunities or to confidently start their own small businesses.

For many young mothers in rural Uganda, becoming a mother can make their dreams feel distant. But Manjeri’s story is a reminder that hope is never lost. 💛
Through the skills training she is receiving at the Musana Empowerment Center, she is rebuilding her life and creating a new path forward for herself and her child.
If you are in Iganga, Kaliro, or Kamuli, girls and women can enroll at the nearest Musana Empowerment Center to gain practical skills and build a brighter, more independent future.

Ahead of the opening of Musana Vocational High School – Kamuli, we warmly welcomed the new staff who will be teaching, mentoring, and caring for our students.
During orientation, we shared Musana’s mission and vision and reflected on our core values — being faith-driven, embracing innovation, and advancing empowerment, among others.
We are excited to welcome them into the Musana family and look forward to the lasting transformation this school will bring to students, families, and the wider community.

Because of thousands of supporters who stood with us during last year’s Shine the Light campaign, two new primary schools have been built in Budaka and Mayuge. 🌟
Registration is underway, and our schools are ready to open their doors to their very first students. Teachers, matrons, and staff—many hired directly from the local communities—are preparing to begin their first day of work.
To the people of Mayuge and Budaka: thank you for welcoming Musana into your communities. We are honored to grow together. 💛

Step into the Baby Class with Sarah, a dedicated early childhood educator who has been nurturing our youngest learners since 2016.

Here, the foundations of learning are gently laid, tiny hands grasp pencils for the first time, minds light up as they recognize colors and shapes, and the first steps into reading begin with wonder.

From Free Choice Time, where children explore through painting or block play, to cozy Story Time sessions, every moment is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and prepare them for a lifelong love of learning.
