Not a creature was stirring, not even an admin in the hall.
The classrooms lay quiet, all tidy and bright,
With fidgets and cushions, and books stacked just right.

The next day, the classrooms shone with cheer,
Filled with laughter and learning from morning to near.

And for some kids, being told to “just keep trying” only adds more pressure to a system that was never built for the way their brains learn.

Some students don’t need more grit.
They need more understanding.

More adults who actually see them, hear them, and know how to support the way their minds take in the world.

That’s where Havern changes everything.

Our creative, courageous students dreamed up their own products, built their brands, marketed like pros, and confidently sold to real customers — all on their own! From concept to cash box, they showed what happens when innovation meets determination.

What a tail-wagging performance by our incredible lower school students in this year’s annual play, ARF! A huge round of a-paws for our fabulous drama teacher, Mrs. Pritchett, who helped the kids find their bark, build confidence, and have the most fetchingly fun time on stage.

Our Story

Havern School has been educating children with learning disabilities in the Denver area for over 50 years. We accept students from grades K-8. Our integrated curriculum includes intensive instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics as well as speech-language and occupational therapies. Classes in social skills, art, music and drama, and digital technology round out the school week.
