Every day, veterans and first responders carry challenges that aren’t always visible, but they are real, and too often, they go untreated.

That reality is what makes the mission of Victory For Veterans so important.

Through their Life Readiness Centers, veterans and first responders have access to hyperbaric oxygen therapy and other supportive services designed to help them recover from traumatic brain injuries and the invisible wounds of service, at no cost to them.

We’re honored that Hill Country Wound Care & Hyperbarics has been selected as a Life Readiness Center, helping bring this level of care and access to the San Antonio community.

On June 13, we’ll be joining Victory For Veterans as a Premier Sponsor for the “Heroes & High Rollers” Casino Night at the Kimpton Santo. It’s an opportunity to come together as a community, support a meaningful cause, and help expand access to care for those who have served.

If your organization values service, leadership, and supporting those who have given so much, we invite you to be part of this evening, whether through sponsorship, attendance, or another form of support.

We’re proud to stand behind this mission and the impact it creates.

A lot of what supports better outcomes doesn’t just happen inside the clinic. It happens through connection, collaboration, and shared expertise.

This past weekend, Dr. Michael Cascio and Jade, who works closely with referring providers across our community, attended TexFix 2026 at UT Health San Antonio, alongside surgeons and specialists focused on complex reconstruction and limb preservation.

Staying connected to the physicians performing these procedures helps us do what matters most. Provide more coordinated, thoughtful care for the patients we serve.

We’re proud to be part of a clinical community across San Antonio that continues to learn, collaborate, and raise the standard together.

Some patients leave a lasting mark on our team, and Elizabeth is one of them.

After about 30 days of care, she’s completed her hyperbaric oxygen therapy journey. Over that time, we were able to help improve her scar, relieve her pain, and most importantly, give her back a better quality of life.

We’ll miss seeing her each day, but this is exactly what we hope for every patient. To move forward feeling better, stronger, and supported.

Moments like this are a reminder that care goes beyond treatment. Relationships are built, trust is earned, and patients often become like family.

Wishing you all the best, Elizabeth! You’ll always have a place here with us. 💚

We were honored to join over 600 business and community leaders at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts for the 2026 State of the City, hosted by the Greater San Antonio Chamber, featuring an address from Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones.

Bringing together healthcare, business, and civic leadership in one room reinforces something we see every day. Strong communities are built through collaboration. As San Antonio continues to grow, so does the importance of working together to ensure patients have access to the care they need.

We’re proud to be part of that shared effort and grateful to partner with providers and organizations across the region in serving our community.

This Wound Care Nurses Week, we’re proud to recognize the clinicians who make a difference every single day.

From our nurses to our LVNs, MAs, NAs, and hyperbaric technicians, these are the people patients see, trust, and rely on throughout their care. The ones who show up with consistency, compassion, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

They’re not just part of the process. They’re part of each patient’s progress.

To our team, thank you for the care you provide, the relationships you build, and the impact you make on patients and their families every day.

Last week, we had the opportunity to spend time with the next generation of healthcare professionals at the Southern Careers Institute in San Antonio.

Our team connected with over 30 medical assistant students, sharing how to identify wounds, introducing advanced treatment approaches, and offering a closer look at what a career in specialized wound care can look like.

It’s always meaningful to step outside the clinic and invest in the future of patient care. We’re proud to support the work SCI is doing to prepare students for impactful, hands-on careers in healthcare.

Thank you to the Southern Careers Institute and the San Antonio South Campus and for having us. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of your students’ journey.

If you’ve been told “just give it more time,” but nothing is changing, it may be time to look at a different approach.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy helps your body do what it’s been struggling to do on its own. Support tissue, improve circulation, and accelerate recovery. But what matters most is how it’s used.

At Hill Country, HBOT is part of a physician-led plan, built specifically around you, your condition, your history, and what your body needs next.

You’re not just coming in for treatment. You’re coming in for a clear path forward.

Physician-led care isn’t a tagline, it’s how we practice every day.

This Doctor’s Day, we’re proud to recognize the physicians who lead our teams across San Antonio, bringing over 100 years of combined wound care experience to every patient they serve.

Their approach is simple, but powerful. Take the time to listen, evaluate thoroughly, and guide each patient with a plan built around them.

To our doctors, thank you for the expertise, leadership, and compassion you bring to our patients and our community.

The best hyperbaric care isn’t just about the chamber, it’s about the people with you every step of the way.

At Hill Country, our hyperbaric technicians are there from your first treatment to your last. They get to know you, your routine, and even the show or music you look forward to during each session, so when you come back, you can pick up right where you left off.

It’s a small detail, but it reflects something bigger. Care that’s consistent, personal, and built around you.

Physician-led. Patient-centered. Close to home.
