Friday afternoon was like lunch & learn with Dr Jackie

3 of us saw her for PT issues. 3 of us walked away 🤯 (i apparently walked poorly 😂) with a plan.

In between she answered questions, dropped knowledge bombs, and educated the whole crew…

The best practitioners and coaches are willing and excited to share what they know…

They don’t gate-keep info - they’d rather educate, answer questions and raise the level of everyone around them…

If your coaches and providers aren’t like this - find ones who are…

there are standards, then our job is to find what nails the specific athlete… and what doesn’t…

We’re focusing on tidying up details, single sided movements, and some odd object work…

There’s a reason - BUT DANG…we’re all SO SORE and it’s a challenge…

Ya kinda don’t want to, but honestly we all just keep showing up to suffer together.

Zero chances we’d do this alone.
But 💯 chance we’ll happily be miserable together.

That’s why the people and atmosphere and coaches matter.

You decide where, and with whom, you train… choose wisely 😉

Teen Lift Off 1/31/26

This day was about SO MUCH MORE than lifting… (I’ll toss those pics in the stories)

Our teens and their families SHOWED UP and SHOWED off (in the best way)

Here’s a few words to describe the day…

Challenge. Grit. Integrity. Character. Trust. Confidence. Teamwork. Encouragement. Friendship. Mentorship. Celebration. Support.
Pushing past limits. Willingness. Learning. Humility- and pride.

We saw kids put 5-45 😳 # on their PRs.
We saw 3 lift totals increase 15-80 🤯

But beyond the obvious - this was one of my proudest days as a coach…

Because these kids saw in themselves and their friends what I see in them every day… and they chose to go beyond where they thought they could go…

Sometimes you just need to see what you’re capable of to go to the next step, to make change and to see potential beyond where you currently are.

I’ve been at this a loooong time - Saturday was top fav.

Teen Lift Off Recap: You get 2 posts today…

1st is a HUGE thank you to & for EVERYTHING on Saturday.

Something amazing happens when 2 powerhouses show up and get to work…

your behind the scenes work, organization, running warmups and tips for all of our kids was phenomenal and freed me up to do what I needed to without a second thought.

the spotting, cues, encouragement and big bro energy you brought got more out of this crew than I could have done on my own - and the old lady learned a lot too 😉

I’ve seen these 2 in action on the platform so many times - but seeing them in THIS capacity was fantastic.

They’re both natural coaches, tremendous athletes, and have skills and wisdom beyond their years. I can’t wait to see what’s next 🙌

I couldn’t be more grateful that they helped our Teen Lift Off be a success.

From the crew to you guys - THANK YOU!!

Ps: if you want to see them compete… USAPL State meet is in Portland in March… something tells me it’ll be an unforgettable day 😉

These are some of the coolest teens I know…

It’s Teen Lift Off day at RTC and this crew is about to show off all their hard training work…

I’m pretty giddy about it.

They’ve put in so much work, focus and intensity & have massively stepped for this event.
They have taken EVERY challenge I’ve given them (and I’m a LOT 😉)

What they’re about to do in front of their family and friends isn’t easy.

Parents - thank you for investing in and supporting your kids and for constantly showing up ❤️ thank you for trusting me with them 🥹

Teen Barbell Club - thank you for not just showing up - but for BEING here and giving your best. And for being hilarious and fun 😘

Don’t tell the adults, but you’re my favs 😉

No matter how much you lift today - I’m already SO PROUD of you ALL. Not just for your lifting, but who you’re all becoming as humans.

Whoever told you it’s not safe or not to squat probably expects you to stand 👀 🤷🏻‍♀️

With at least 25 squat variations off the top of my head - surely we can find 1-2 that work for you… so you can 🚽💩

That’s what we do. WE COACH.

We program. We customize.
Basically… We freaking care.

That’s the difference between and a typical gym membership.

Treadmills and free weights don’t care if you know what to do or how, what options you need or if you progress or if your squat sucks… or if you even show up…

We do. It’s literally our entire business. We hands-on coach every dang class. There’s a plan; a process; progress. PURPOSE.

We’ll teach you all of it - because we kinda really love doing so…
