Today is GivingTuesday – the Global Day of Giving!

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

NAMI Tri-Valley will be participating in GivingTuesday today and we need your help! By joining the GivingTuesday movement, you’re proving that in times of uncertainty, generosity can bring the whole world together. Your active participation will allow us to further provide free and continuous education, support, resources, and advocacy on mental illness.

Here is how you can participate in GivingTuesday:

1. Give. On December 2nd, go to https://www.namitrivalley.org/donate and give. We are incredibly thankful for any amount of donation. A great big thank you to everyone who has already made a donation!

2. Participate. You can also support NAMI Tri-Valley by signing up to volunteer with our organization or attending any of our general meetings, support groups, classes, and/or workshops.

3. Spread the word. Encourage your friends and family to join you in creating real impact on December 2nd by sharing what our mission means to you and why you support our organization (here are some ideas). Make sure to use the hashtag and tag us so we can share!

Let’s rally together to build stronger communities and support our mission to provide free and continuous education, support, resources, and advocacy on mental illness.
