The Erie Canal Boat Seneca Chief is making its way to
Onondaga Lake Park.

On Saturday, October 4, we’ll kick things off with Welcoming Day. Come be part of the ceremonies, meet the crew, and step aboard the boat.

On Sunday, October 5, it’s all about families and community. Bring the kids and enjoy free hands-on activities like knot-tying, paddle shaping, and wood-burned bookmarks.

This is a chance to commemorate the Erie Canal’s history and celebrate the people who make our community strong.
