Hey everyone! Just a friendly reminder that Empower Parkinson follows the Liverpool School District’s cancellation policy. So if Liverpool Schools are closed because of the weather, our gym will also be closed! Stay safe!

Last month, our 4th Annual Care Partner Program brought together an incredible community of support, inspiration, and shared experience for those caring for loved ones with Parkinson’s.

We were deeply moved by Barbara Davis, author of “Advice From a Parkinson’s Wife: 20 Lessons Learned the Hard Way,” whose story touched everyone in attendance, and grateful for the insightful presentation by Jill Weldum, LMFT, offering practical guidance for care partners.

A big thank you to our community resource partners who brought a wealth of resources, services, and encouragement, helping to strengthen the network supporting Parkinson’s care partners.

Congratulations to the winners of our Maid To Sparkle, LLC. giveaway, Bill and Audrey! Thank you for this very generous donation that added even more joy to a meaningful day.

We had a wonderful night at Paint & Sip this week! Warming up with cocoa, cider, and spirits, Pam Bowes, Care Partner, led us in creating a charming winter snowmen scene.

We were happy to meet from the American Diabetes Association. Her father was a boxer with for three years. We love reconnecting with our extended Empower Parkinson family!
