The Mental Health Advancement Foundation (MHAF) was created to help advance and promote mental health education, therapy grants, and scholarships in Deep East Texas through fundraising. MHAF will be hosting multiple events throughout the year to increase awareness and fundraising for Mental Health needs in our local area. All funding will be used locally to assist community members with accessing mental health therapy on a grant-based basis, to engage in educational efforts to increase awareness of mental illness and mental health, and eventually, to provide scholarships to local graduates who intend to pursue mental health careers and intend to return to Deep East Texas to work.

MHAF was created to serve ALL of Deep East Texas — not just one organization.

When someone receives a therapy grant:
✔️ They choose their provider
✔️ MHAF pays the provider directly
✔️ The client pays nothing (if qualified)

Think of it like a bridge between people who need help… and providers who want to help.

No barriers. No red tape.

There are people right here in Deep East Texas who need mental health support… and simply can’t afford it.

That’s exactly why the Mental Health Advancement Foundation was created.

MHAF helps provide:
✔️ Up to 8 FREE therapy sessions for those who qualify
✔️ Support for future mental health providers
✔️ Community education and awareness

This isn’t about one clinic.
This is about our entire community.
