Cupping Therapy
This is what cupping therapy looks like on a real person during a treatment session. The therapist places suction cups on the back, which create a vacuum that gently pulls the skin upward. This suction helps increase blood circulation and loosen tight muscles. 

What happens during cupping
• The therapist places glass or silicone cups on the skin.
• Air is removed from the cup (by pump or heat) to create suction.
• The cup stays on the skin 5–15 minutes or may be moved for “gliding cupping.”
• After removal, round red or purple marks may appear temporarily.

About the marks
