Co-Regulation tips from the counseling team!!

🩵 Regulate yourself first – take a breath, soften your tone, and slow your body language.
🩵Connection before correction – get at their level, validate their emotional experience briefly (“That was really frustrating”), and prioritize safety
🩵Use simple, clear phrases – short phrases like “I’m here,” “Let’s breathe together,” or “We can figure this out” are more effective than lengthy explanations.
🩵Model regulation strategies – breathe slowly, count out loud, or gently guide them through calming actions rather than telling them what to do.
🩵Wait for calm before teaching – once your child is regulated, then you can talk about choices, consequences, or coping skills.

Big things are happening here! 🎉

🛝 We’re excited to share that we are revamping our indoor spaces and adding playscapes in both buildings!

Building A’s indoor play structure is officially complete—and it’s already a hit! Our very first little visitor gave it a try and absolutely LOVED it! 😊

We are so grateful to have acquired these amazing structures from Jungle Java and can’t wait to see all the fun, laughter, and memories they’ll bring for our families.

Check out the new Building A play structure below, and stay tuned for updates on Building B as we finish up its exciting new space!
