This is something that was placed on my heart this week heavily. It’s eye opening. Because absolutely — YES.

Sometimes it’s exhausting fighting the fight for your health. It can even become the only thing you see. The only thing you focus on. But there is so.much.more.

When you step back with a little acceptance, you begin to see all the tender mercies, the small miracles, the blessings, the light that was there all along. It’s not losing hope. It’s not quitting. But there is something to be said about the constant fight or flight mode we can put ourselves in when our expectations for healing become all consuming.

When everything hinges on that one outcome, sometimes we leave no room for the miracle, for joy, for learning, for the lessons that are quietly unfolding.

Yes, it can be a dark season, but it can also be incredibly sacred. So many things — so many — have come from my health journey. It brings me to tears. Brutal, but life changing in the way that I look at health from so many different angles.

You can still be happy. You can still find joy. You can still believe healing is possible too.

I believe I am being led through the fire and into abundance 🔥 The journey is consistently surprising. But I will not grow weary in doing good. I know that every detour has already been accounted for by God. He is not surprised by my journey. He has anticipated this season and prepared what I need in advance.
