Our amazing perinatal women's mental health specialist counselors have been busy!! Corrina Harris, LPC and Kate McCarty-Welch, LPC, are outlining a women's pregnancy and infant loss support group for this winter.
This group would meet virtually, once weekly for about 6-8 weeks, starting sometime in early October. If this is a group you'd be interested in joining, please contact Sarah at keystone_counsel@comcast.net, to start the process. All group participants must have an initial assessment prior to joining.
Need access to counseling for this purpose, but worried about the costs? Did you know that Keystone Counseling partners with the nonprofit organization Keegan Cares, which pays up to $500 of counseling costs for services related to pregnancy and infant loss?
This is a subject near and dear to us!

Hey all, we know there were a lot of folks who didn’t get book bags yesterday. Here’s another event upcoming, with bags, clothes and even free hair cuts!! Must schedule ahead for the hair cut. Don’t wait!!

All of our back to school bags have been taken. What a success this year!
We started with 72 bags, ranging from elementary age through high school, all filled with school supplies, like classroom materials, lunch boxes and/or water bottles. We even had a few cyber bags filled with items like a mouse/keyboard, ear phones, organizational systems, so on.
They were gone by 1pm!
We had a LOT of help this year, from team members in house who helped plan, gather materials and package these bags, to businesses who donated items and helped market the event!!

And community members, who donated new and gently used items.

Last year, we had 42 bags—30 more this year! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Back to school time is always a season we see a large uptick in need for our services. It’s a stressful season, with financial stressors increasing as well as schedules getting busier. Our Ready, Set, School event each year is meant to help in a small way. 💚
