Today January 31,2022 “The Caring Touch “ has ended the day and has closed permanently after 30 years of care and devotion to our elderly community. I have always been a planner for everything but I failed to plan getting older into the equation.
I have had a wonderful life sharing my life with folks that needed me. For the first 14 years I did it all. Fresh blueberry muffins in the oven at 4:00 am , fresh cut up oranges and grapefruits and bacon and eggs ! A breakfast that I served almost every morning and never did I grow tired from doing it. My folks loved it and they deserved being served. People have asked me many times how I did what I did? I can only tell you that the lord called me to do what I did and empowered me with his strength. I have sacrificed a lot with my family but doing what you know God created you to do sometimes is a sacrifice. My family always knew to schedule functions around my schedule of responsibility. They never complained. My life has been touched by hundreds of people and I hope that I have made a difference in the lives that I have touched. So now I want to spend my time with my family and especially my devoted husband who has been in the shadows for many years. But without him I would have retired long ago. I opened a little polish pottery shop here on our property and invite all to come and see the beautiful hand painted artistry of Polish Pottery. I want to say thank you to all who entrusted your loved ones into my care. Thank you for your trust. So now I say Good bye God richly bless you all for he surely blessed me with you!
