2026 has been busy so far! This morning, after a full night of sleep (by both client & doula!), I supported a couple as they welcomed their third child. And the 3rd time TRULY was a charm. Labor progressed QUICKLY, without intervention, on mom's terms. To say she was shocked by the incredible power of her body is an understatement - but spoiler alert, we're all more powerful than we think we are ✊

This week my daughter turned 7, and while I reminisced about her birth, wrapped gifts, & put finishing touches on her celebration, I was lucky enough to spend a morning supporting a client as she welcomed her own beautiful daughter.

She bravely faced the unknown as she prepared her body, heart & mind for a planned cesarean birth. This was not the road to motherhood she would have chosen in a perfect world, but the road laid before her nonetheless. She & her husband worked together with their support team to curate the best birth experience they could, and they calmly & joyfully welcomed their sweet girl Earthside.
