🎉🏆 Congratulations to our amazing athletes recognized at the 7th Annual ASPIRE Awards!

The American Association of Adapted Sports Programs (AAASP) celebrated 29 outstanding individuals and organizations Sunday night at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Atlanta — honoring excellence, leadership, and dedication in the field of adapted sports.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Griffin RESA Georgia Storm athletes:

💫 Jacee Hand – Recipient of the Heart and Hustle Award for her determination, teamwork, and unwavering spirit both on and off the court.

💫 Ja’corian Carter – Nominee for JV Male Athlete of the Year for his great sportsmanship and leadership as team captain.

These two outstanding athletes represent the heart of what adapted sports are all about — perseverance, teamwork, and pride. Their accomplishments continue to inspire teammates, coaches, and our entire community.

👏 We’d also like to recognize all of the 2025 ASPIRE Award recipients who continue to make a difference in the world of adapted sports.

Ben Vondrak, Larry Osborne, Len Boudreaux, Auburn University Adapted Sports Program, NFHS, Clayton Eagles, Dr. Lionel Brown, Mark Christmas, Marcia Edwards, Vincent Hamlin, Bailey McCartney, Sherry Richards, Luke Hetrick, Elam Tyson, Daniel Apuango, Kila Ray Brown, Jeremiah Hopson, Joshua Biyoyouwei, Anthony Cuti, Ashlyn Stevens, Najee Smothers, Antoine L. Craig, Jeremiah Rhodes, Caleb Merriken, Dalton Crosby, and Ruby Stachowski!

And a thank you to Henry County Schools and Henry County Parks & Recreation for their ongoing partnership and support of the school based wheelchair sports team.

We couldn’t be prouder of our athletes and the entire adapted sports community! 💙♿
